Left door lock sensor

Some dirtbag tried to break into my truck. Unsuccessfully I might add. So now I need to replace my door handle. Question is: do I need to program the sensor in the handle and if so, how do I do that? Truck has motion sensor for unlocking

If it's the factory Keyless Enter-N-Go system it's not motion sensor, but a touch sensor. The door handle should just plug in and work.
