Hello all, first time poster.

I have a 2015 with a RC 6" suspension lift. It ended up being too tall for me. Have any of you removed this lift and installed a 3"? If so, what do I do about the new knuckles that are on the truck? They are made for the 6" and I do not have stock ones. Thanks all, I really appreciate it.

Does the new kit you are looking into have provisions for them? I don't think it would be much of a issue if you leave those in.

What do you mean by provisions? I was looking at a 3" kit but it doesn't come with any knuckles if that makes sense

Yeah, does it come with new knuckles? If not, I don't think leaving what you have there alone for the 3 inch kit would be much of an issue.

Your best option would be to reach out to @Nick@GotExhaust who is a preferred vendor on this forum. Ask him to set you up with a 4” lift from Zone and install it completely. RC had multiple kits so you may need replacement rear upper control arms. Since you have a 6” kit now your frame is cut and you’re not going back to stock / leveled without welding the bracket back in place.

By going with a 4” lift you’ll get all the correct parts you need.

A 6” kit comes with drop brackets for the lower arms and diff, and taller knuckles to reach the upper arms. What would make you think you could leave all that in place, yet only lift it 3”?

Definitely do not reuse the current knuckles.

Best bet is to fully remove that RC kit and go with a quality 4" kit from Zone. This will have the parts that you need to replace the 6" kit currently on your truck.

Message me if you would like a quote and more info.
