So, these are for a 5th gen. Thanks Rough Country for screwing us. How long as the 4th gen been out?? haaha

Anyways, after coming across some people swapping over 5th gen spindles and brakes. Got me thinking

Well I don't want to go to 6 lug. So will our 5 lug hubs fit in a 5th gen ram spindle? 3 bolt holes are the same?
So all need for these brakes to fit is the 5th gen spindles and then re-drill the rotor hat which for me is the easy part.

My other option would be to buy the kit and maybe get another bracket made.

Thanks

Rough country is the great value of truck parts, I don't know if I would install their stuff if someone gave it to me for free, much less if I'm having to drill and modify stuff to make it work.

There's only one review on their website but sounds like installation was a pain, I would spend whatever the money is for a proper set up.

Look at PowerStop brakes. We use their rotors and pads on pursuit rated vehicles and that's also what we went with on my son's (my former) 2012 Ram Express. They are excellent all around, just pay attention to the break in instructions and do the procedure as listed.

Well I did find this install on the TRX forum.

That reviews seemed to be about the brake lines being to short from what I understand. The review was a little confusing.

Who TF wants Rust Kuntry on their truck. Its the biggest garbage in the industry.

Yeah, so I don't lift my trucks but after doing a lot of research about Rough Country they seem to have a bad reputation. lol
So I think I will pass.

When I was shopping around for front recovery hooks I was agast at thier prices. Other then a RC stamp into the metal, I figured, that's got to be it, not worth a 100 more then some competitors.

We offer great big brake kits made by R1 Concepts but be warned they do not have too good to be true prices like the product linked above. You get what you pay for and the R1 Concepts brake packages are a true BIG upgrade. If you interested message me and we can go over info, options, and pricing.

I get more junk fliers and emails from them. Too aggressive self-marketing is a bad signal IMO.

Yeah, I think I will pass on them..

Anything rough country will be much cheaper than the same product from a quality manufacturer.
