I said I would never buy a black truck after my 2007 power wagon which was brilliant black pearl. My first choice was actually grey like my 2011 mineral grey metallic power wagon. However I purchased a black sports group reg cab last week. It's currently on the dealership hoist:superhack: awaiting its lift and other goodies. I should have it Monday. Here's a pic I snapped in the lot the day I purchased

Confession of a Blackout Express Owner.........a few months back I traded my 2015 Ram Blackout 1500 Crew for a 2016 Black Bighorn 1500 Crew and hating the chrome Ugh! I really miss the blacked out sport headlights and taillights!! This page is not helping me get over this decision.........

While I was at the dealer getting service, the sales rep talked me into a Bighorn. I know they had a buyer for my truck as they were out of Blackout crews and no offense to 2016 Blackout 1500 owners, the 2015 IMO look better with the sport lights. The 2016s I have seen have quads and blacked out side badging. Mine was factory shaved.

Anyway, I fell for all the "stuff" the Bighorn had. I now have a center console, 8.4, 7" gauge cluster, power seats (what started the conversation as my wife is short and couldn't see well when she ever had to drive my truck), split rears with the flip out floors, LEDs in the bed, etc.

Only way deal worked if I kept my payments same which I did so I got a 2016 Bighorn for 2015 Express money........

So I grabbed more stuff inside but lost on the outside.....

Yes I had the dealer install a 6" BDS lift with Bilstein 5100 in front and pro runner in rear (waiting to arrive). 37" Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ p3 mounted on 20" Fuel Coupler D556 wheels and removed badges from tuck before delivery. More to come, just picked truck up Saturday. Will post a pic soon.

@ peter123wallace
Here is a quick pic from the dealership when I picked the truck up on Saturday. So I had the lift, wheels, tires and de-badging done in house. Now that I have the truck I can figure exactly what I want to do cosmetically or performance wise.

Probably tint, 3m, in channel window shade vents, bug deflector, bed rug and mudflaps to start. I will post better pic when I get some good photos. The red truck is my 2014, I traded it:signs6:

Great trade bro! :waytogo:
Looking very good indeed. And, you sure have nice aesthetic ideas.

Ha ha. Not really “blacked out” per-say lol. Nice truck tho. I’d look good with a storm trooper plate [emoji106]. I got the Darth Vader on mine.... closet nerd here
