Let's See Your Off Road Lights

I still have my factory quads with upgraded bulbs from H11 to H9. Enough for my needs.
Originally i did an aftermarket bumper with a Niglight 32" amazon lightbar and Swatow DOT Fog ligts

Then i wanted a winch and hat bumper wasn't going to work with one so i bought winch bumper and added 4 Rigid D series pod Midnight optic spot lights. Plenty of forward light in a very compact package. Much better lighting optics compared to the Lightbar i had before in the other bumper bumper. Same fogs.

I have the Diode Dynamics SS3 SAE Pro level fog lights in the factory locations, they make a huge difference. You can practically drive in the city with just them and not get flashed.

How do you like these? I have been running hikari in my stock housings and they are brighter then my low beams? Are these and the maxes really worth the price?

i got a set of rough country bumpers on my 2500
its got 4 4 inch pods that shine out, and a bar that shines forward

i find the ones that shine out help the most

They're great, best lighting upgrade I've probably ever done. I just have the Pro level and haven't even been lacking in lighting even when out in the back country where there isn't any lights for miles.
I thought about buying the Max level but at the time the company rep said to go with the Pro level in part since I do a mix of city driving and if I wasn't happy I could exchange them.
The problem with running LEDs in the stock housings is the overabundance of light that goes everywhere. That might be nice for clear weather when dark but useless in dense fog and heavy snow. I've drove in both super dense fog and near white out snow conditions and the Pro level SAE fogs worked excellent even being white light.
I'd buy them again without hesitation.

Also it had most the spot reflectors
I an see the roadside reflectors an easy 3/4 mile down the highway.
So far it has saved me 3 times from deer and antelope on the highway to/from work

Here is the lighting I have on my TRX. Two Baja Designs LP9s and two Baja Designs LP6s on the pre-runner bar, and a Baja Designs 20" OnX6 light bar behind the bumper where it can't be seen.


I like the amber backlighting on the Baja Designs LP series lights. Here is what they look like when the park lights or headlights are on, but the Baja Designs lights are off.

I think I may grab these based on what you said. It seems like a better upgrade instead of the leds. I know the maxs were like 500 bucks I don’t need to spend that much, as it is my fogs were brighter then my quads.

Better upgrade then if I did moronoto XB’s lol…..need to do those too.

Don't waste your time with the Morimoto xb fog lights made for the Ram trucks. They're an up grade from the scatter beam of the OEM housing but not even anywhere near DD SS3 SAE Pro level fogs.
Upgrade your fog lights first, might make you rethink what you upgrade the headlights with. I'd probably just stay with the OEM Quads running LEDs in jst the high beams if I didn't already have Alpharex dual projectors with dedicated DRLs.
