I am interested in leveling my 2014 2500 so that it doesn't look like it's been kicked in the ass. I don't want to mess with the rear because my drop hitch is already at it's lowest setting for the travel trailer, (which is still a half bubble too high at the tongue), so raising the nose should make it level. It seems like many are lifting their trucks, but usually it's a 1500. What do I need to do to level the truck safely? Is it just Bilstein 5100's on the front? Do I need a new UCA? I've never attemted such a thing with a truck, but I have dropped several Mustangs. Any considered advise is much appreciated.

If you have a 2014 2500 4x4, then you have a solid front axle. I just lifted my 2014 2500 this past weekend and put new Bilstein 5100's(not height adjustable) on all four corners. It took me about 3 hrs to do it all. Not hard, just a little tedious doing it in the driveway. The Bilsteins are so much better than stock shocks, they smooth out the jarring hits in the suspension alot! I used Rough Country's 2.5" level spacer kit. I bought everything off eBay for $432.

You can keep your factory shocks if you use shock extenders.

Traxda has options for you on the spacers needed for the front. Than you can choose if you want to go to shock extenders or new shocks.

you will also need to align the front end after you are done.

Here's the before and after pics of my truck with the 2.5" Rough Country lift. Height from blacktop to center fender well was 40.5" before and 43.125" after. It should settle a little in the front over the next 100 miles or so. The kit basically made my truck perfectly level.

looks good!

are you gonna go 35" or you think a 33" would do better for a level only?

I think the 35's with 20" wheels look perfect on these trucks leveled.

I ordered the same on Ebay just now for $9 more. Unfortunately, the two items were from different vendors so I had to pay $11 for shipping of the Level Spacer kit. I have a nice November 1st planned now. :)

I have a set of Zone 2.5" lift spacers for a '14 2500 had them on my truck for like 500 miles before putting on a 6" lift. Can't list them on here yet because I haven't posted 50+ times, but if you are interested, let me know. I can send pics...also have them listed on another dodge forum

I have a buddy that has a 2014 2500 CTD with a RC 2.5" leveling kit. We are installing a Zone 6" lift as we speak. He wants to install the leveling kit on top of the lift kit. I honestly do not think it is safe but he is saying BDS/zone told him it would work as long as he installed the indexing ring. Will this really work and be safe?

Edit: Confirming, If anyone cares, that it does work with no issues as long as you use the transfer case indexing ring..

I've finally received the RC 2.5" lift and Bilstein 5100's. Now I'm deciding if I want to do it myself or pay someone to do it. $172 for the install and $55 for the alignment.

Thats not a bad price actually, to keep your hands clean. Worth it if you ask me. :favorites13:

I decided to let someone else have the joy of working on my truck. I'm sitting at the shop now waiting for its completion. Too bad I have a root canal later. :(

Awesome so don't forget pics?
