Leveling a 2015 Laramie 2WD

I've heard a couple people say leveling really beats on some sort of joint (I *think* balljoint???), and really isn't recommended. I'm tempted on getting it done at a local shop, apparently, they use "bump stop" to address the issue. I just don't know enough about this... Thoughts?

Get the Maxtrac kits, no worries on anything. I have their 4.5"/3" on mine...rides as good as new.
