Leveling kit concern????

I just installed my 2" hellbent on my ram 1500 then had it aligned and all went perfect but now I'm reading about problems with the UCA and to go with mevotech or zones.....I called hellbent and they have heard of the problem with 2.5 so they discontinued it and kept the 2" since they haven't heard problems with it, but I want mine to be right, just sucks I spent the money to have it aligned already am I fine or how will I know if my truck needs UCA......lady at hellbent said I was fine they usually pop trying to put them back together installing lift.....I installed it and it went all very easy.....lemme know guys I don't wanna be broke down on side of road

You'll be fine...the likelihood of that happening is pretty slim. A lot of guys upgrade the ucas just to be on the safe side. I've had my level in for almost a year with no issues. Ran the same kit on my old truck and I took it off roading with no problems!

Well you have a 12 I see and I have 14 I have heard it is only on the 14 is where the problem stands

Just keep an eye on them and if they start to lift have them welded. Sounds crazy I know but you will get some time out of them and when it comes time for new ones just get the uca'a then. Just buys you some time and save some money for now. I had to do mine but I'm running a whole different setup. Mine went togather easy also but popped within the 1st 100 miles. Just watch them for a little bit

What should I look for like there the balljoint sits flush with UCA so if joint is sitting lower or higher in the arm I know to replace them correct and if they are good they will be flush at the top correct

I would NOT weld them. They pop at an angle due to the over extension of the joint. The outer most pushes upward to allow more travel.
