I need an edu-ma-cation, lol, I currently have a 15 tradesmen 3500 crew 4x4. And was looking on rough countries website and you can get a 2 1/2" leveling lift for $99, will the truck still handle ok? Or is it going to go to driving like garbage? Also. With 18's what's the best size tire to go with in size that isn't $300 each? Kinda like to go up abit in size from the stock firejunk trans-**** tires. Was looking on discount tires website and they have decent looking rims for $145-160 so I was hoping here in a few weeks to get some stuff ordered for my truck

Did you install it yourself?

I have the RCX 2.5" level and did the install myself. You need the correct tools of course but it is doable. The only advice I would give is to NOT get the RCX shocks, they don't last. The ones I've installed on my truck and wife's Jeep have rusted pretty bad and I've had one fail in just over a year as well. Since the spacer kit is so inexpensive, take the money you save and get good shocks.

you will also need a adjustable tracbar as well or your axle will no longer be centered under the truck.
Bilstein 5100 shocks are what you want.

Thuren adjustible track bar was one of my favorite mods, was $375 back when I bought it. Really helped tighten up the front end. Bilstein's part #'s for the newer 2500's are 24-240390 and 24-239462. But not sure if the rear would change on the 3500's due to the leaf springs.

Good luck!

I've got the RCX on the mega with a Pure Performance trac bar... Handles and drives great. I have the RCX 2.0 shocks also. They seem to be fine 15k miles later. All installed in my driveway.
As far as tires, you can fit a 35/12.5 pretty easily.

I installed mine in about 2 hours. Really easy, just needed to lube up the coil mounts to ease the coil spring into position. But so far I'm impressed with the kit
