I am new to the forum and my Ram. I have been looking on here for awhile and see a lot of people are leveling there Rams. Is it just a look mod or does it help with something else? I am starting to look at what to do with my 2015 CC big horn but would like to know more about the leveling kit before i just buy something. Thanks

A lot of people don't like the look of stock Ram with it's nose in the dirt thus lots of guys "level" their truck. Some people have complained after "leveling" that they lost some gas mileage. Is your truck 2 or 4 wheel drive?

The most popular way of leveling seems to be using Bilstein 5100 adjustable shocks. In the newer 4th gen. trucks there seems to be some controversy as to whether you should change your UCA at the same time you do the shocks to avoid any problems with your ball joints. Some people have reported problems with the ball joints "popping" out after leveling their truck and others say they have never had a problem. You might do some reading about this before you make any decisions regarding "leveling" your truck and what products to use. There is lots and lots of stuff to read and just as many opinions--LOL

Yes the easiest way is to get Bilstein 5100's. I also suggest that you invest on a suspension lift if you are planning to go off the road.

Some say only the ball joints in the 2013-2014 models too. Ram may have fixed that in 2015 and 2016 models.
