Per previous thread I need to replace my shocks. Fronts and rear. Truck has a 4" lift and I'm wondering if anyone can give me some info on the spacers currently installed.

Also how hard would it be to lower the truck down to a 2" lift or should I keep it at 4". Will lowering it 2" make any difference in gas mileage?

Also need help on figuring out which shocks to purchase for use with a lifted truck. bilstein shocks are what I want to go with but I only see up to 2" front and 1" back extra. Do these still work?

Last dumb question for now. Do I keep the Sam springs up front when I replace the shocks?

So some how I only ever got under the truck from behind the front wheels and continually missed the logo for the lift kit installed.

It is a rough country kit. Sooooo now back to deciding on what shocks to go with. I think I will keep the 4" lift.

Also should I look into upgrading anything else while I'm doing shocks?

If you change to bilstein 5100s they will reuse the front spring. Also reinstall the strut spacer with RCX on it. The strut spacer is what gives you the lift so you couldn't lower the truck without taking that spacer completely out.
