I'm getting fairly close to new tire time. I'm planning on running BFG K02 tires but not sure what size (34 or 35)
Currently I have Bilsteins @2.8 with a 1.25 rear spacer. I am thinking about MAYBE adding a 1.5 Zone body lift next summer, but not sure.
I like the idea of running the 34's as they are about $400 cheaper (and maybe not doing the 1.5BL) but I don't want to end up wishing I had went bigger
I also like the idea of going with the 35's in case I do add the BL. But, if I end up deciding not to do the BL are they going to look to cramped up with the just the Bilsteins?
BTW I don't do any serious off roadding, just minor field and yard type stuff. Mainly it is just my daily driver when it is not nice enough out to ride the bike. (live in Ohio = Snow)

anyone have any thoughts? maybe you were in the same boat and bought one size and wish you had gone with the one.

I'm having the 34s and Bilsteins installed next Monday. I was worried that the 35s would look cramped and I'm pretty positive that I won't lift it any more. I'll post a picture once I get it done.

Another vote for 34's, 285/65-R20 if sticking with OEM 20x8's. Plenty of guys are running 35's with Bils, but they look a bit stuffed to me - but it's all personal preference. If adding the 1.5" BL then I would look at 35's though.

I went with the 285/65 BFG KO2s on my factory 20x8 wheels. I have the Bilsteins at 2.8 w/no other lift. I think they are a good match, no rub at all.

I have 315/70/17's here, which is pretty much a 35' tire, mounted on 17x9 wheels with -12 offset, with Rancho Quicklift, which is just 2" higher in the front with respect to stock, and Zone offroad UCA's, If this much gap in the fender wheels is what people refer to being stuffed, then i have to say i love the look :) and i'm not into BL's either. personal preference, im more into offroading and exploring the outdoors, i don't need anything higher than 2.5" honestly.

Zero issues on or offroad

Yeah that's what most refer to when talking about "stuffed". There's nothing wrong with it, just a personal preference. Some like the most tire they can get in the wheelwell, some like more space showing. "Stuffed" is more like a tucked in, ****, modern, aggressive look, while "not stuffed" I guess lol is more of a lifted, older, traditional mudder look.

Both look good, just different strokes... ;)

Would like to see some pics if you have them - I'm leaning toward these as well, or maybe the 295's.

Of course it is personal preference :) Nice pics, however I'd add a 4" lift and some fender flares. But that is my personal opinion ...

285/65/20’s are a great fit, i had them before i did the full on lift. Fun fact: BFG KO2’s in a 285/65/20 spec out to 34.5” tall.............and so does their 35x12.50x20! Obviously not as wide but just as tall.

I needed new tires so I went with a LT 285/70/17. I plan on installing Bils in the front. I do love the look of the way it is now, but knowing that the front is lower than the rear it bugs me. LOL

Well, have to take a serving of crow - ordered at set of Terra Grappler G2 35x11.50's due to Nitto's being on 20% off.. Technically they are 34.5" same as the 285/65's, but say 35" on the side instead of some funky metric gibberish :waytogo:

You'll be fine, it's IFS, what's the point of a huge gap if you can't even compress the shock 1/3 before you're 3 wheeling ???, if it was a live front axel things will be a lot different .... :)

I love the fit and the ride. Just a little over 33 inch tall general ATx E5C99656-BDC2-4F8B-A676-6737414AACE3.jpeg 909D130C-45E6-4F5B-B652-C9FA12FFA740.jpeg tires

Bils 2.8 w/ 1.5 rear spacer

295/60r20 Cooper AT3 XLT.. 34.1 x 11.6

IMO it would have looked stuffed if I went with a taller tire.. it has the perfect amount of fender gap as it sits.

I have Cooper STT Pro in 295 70r18. They are about a 34.5" tire but I have them on 18 Gear Doninator wheels. I do have a small level on the truck and I dont rub at all on turns. I live in Pa so I get about the same weather as you do and I have not had a single issue offroad.

Got the Nitto's installed today - as mentioned before, I went with 35x11.50R20's. Thunderbolts out, of course :). Installer mentioned they balanced super easy, hardly any weight required. I chose the narrower 11.5 due to keeping stock 20x8" rims, plus keeps them tucked in reducing mud, dirt, gravel, etc getting thrown up on the sides, hopefully.

Rides great, hardly any noise or hum/drone. So far I'm pretty happy with them.

I've got bilsteins set at 2.8 with Cooper AT3 XLT 35X12.5X20. Wheels are 20x9 with 0 offset. I couldn't be happier with how it looks.
