Stock wheels
Stock tire size (KO2’s)
2” Rough Country Front w/ bump stop
2” Rear
1.5” Hub-centric spacers (factory wheels have that counter-sink for each lug)]

How did you decided on the Rough Country struts up front?

I assume in reading all of these posts if I plan on using the stock express wheels or may find a set of stock sport wheels I am gonna need to run some sort of spacer. I am putting a Pro Comp 4" lift and I am looking to run some sort of 35" tire. Maybe Milestar or Cooper or the Nitto's..

What size spacer and what brand of spacer is recommended?

It depends on the size tire and which stock wheel you are running. The biggest issue is the width of the tires and offset of the wheel which can cause contact between the inner edge of the tire and the upper control arm/spindle.
If running a 12.5 wide tire (doesn’t matter if it’s 33x12.5 or 35x12.5), the express 20x8 wheels usually need at least a 1/4” spacer. The sport 20x9 wheels have a little deeper offset and will sometimes work with no spacer depending on how aggressive the tire sidewall is. I can’t really recommend a particular brand of spacer. If using a small 1/4” spacer that slides over the existing studs it doesn’t really matter. If running a larger spacer (also called an adapter) like 1.5” or larger then just make sure you get one that is hub centric. I’ve ran non hub centric spacers before and they’re a pain to get mounted right without getting vibrations.

Not sure how the Pro Comp knuckles are shaped, but with my 4” RC lift, the clearance issue was between the tire sidewall, and the knuckle.
First pic shows clearance between tire and knuckle With a 1/4” spacer.

The 1/4” spacers were on the truck when I bought it, and were not hub centric. I ditched them in favor of some 2” hub centric ones.
Second pic shows clearance with the 2” spacers installed.

Oh yea, tires are 35x12.50’s on stock big horn chrome clad 20’s.

Okay guys, I'm going to beat the dead horse here. I leveled my 2016 Ram 1500 with Bilstein @ 2.8" and want to put Kenda Klever 35x 12.5 x20 on my stock clad wheels. The tire shop said they don't fit and rub or sit on the upper control arm. I know it needs a spacer, but will the 3/8" spacer from Motorsports tech work or will I need a 1 1/2" bora spacer to clear. I want just fix the problem and be done.

I measured the upper control arm with stock tires 275 60 20 ( width 11") and the side of tire and upper control arm measured 5/8" gap. The new tires 35" x 12.5 x 20's are much wider ( measured 13" 1/4" wide ) unmounted. The guy at the shop said maybe a 1/4" spacer might work but will be close.

Any ideas??

I'd go with the 1.5 bora spacers. I've seen it done with the 1/4" spaces available but not keen on the idea.

Keep.in mind you have to trim a tiny bit of stud off with 1.5 spacers but it's not part of the threads so it's a non issue. My build thread has pics of it.

I run the 1.5 boras and love them. No rubbing issues with the 315 70 17s I had prior to the stock 20s either. But once cry once!

I’m not to concerned about the cost and definitely want good quality spacers / adapters. I heard the 10 mm or 3/8” will work but I don’t want buy and they don’t clear the UCA. Thanks for the recommendation.
