I bought a used 318 engine for my 92 dodge and I think it had sat a while but idk I put all new seals in it and dropped it in. Started right up and ran good other than a little lifter tap I took the intake off and got to inspecting the cam and the lobe on the cam of the number 3 cylinder exhaust valve looks a little chewed up but all the others are fine and the roller on the lifter is fine is this where the tap could be coming from and what could have caused this??? If anyone has any ideas please let me know
