I talked to nick about getting either a super lift or zone four inch obv I can do this with the stock struts but I thought this was a no no can someone roaming p me of just getting the kit will be fine or if I need shocks to and what lift to be looking at. Brother has a pair of 285 duratracs I can use and I just had a plug put in on the stock sras that won’t pass inspection come August so trying to get this taken care of by then any info lifts you guys have and such would be great.

I went with the Zone 6" with 3" their rear coils, Fox 2.0's in the back and Fox 2.5 coil overs in the front with Zone's UCA's. The ride is unbelievable! It's actually smoother than it was stock. Never thought a lifted truck would drive this smooth, and I've had a few.

A bit pricey at first, but you get what you pay for and you only do it once.

Nick will not steer you wrong. There are plenty of threads here that explain the differences. Key reasons to switch out to something better would be you want to improve your ride and handling, the shape of your existing set up etc.

I feel like 6 is more than I need what did that setup run you? This is where I get confused those setups use spacers for the strut ect or the lower lifts do maybe thrust 6inch comes with those shocks.

Also don’t know if I should do the super lift and either use the stock struts or use the super lift ones or just go Bilstein all around.

I don't have any spacers. 3" coils in the rear and Fox 2.5 coil overs in front. I thought the same as you, 6" was a bit too high for me. I have about 5" in the front and 3" in the back. Very nice height and it sits perfect.

So you have coil overs in the front and coils in the back? So you don’t have an actual brand name
Lift or where the coils on top of a lift?
