The hardest part about putting the brackets on was making sure they were in the same position on both sides. Once I figured that out it took all of 2 mins to mount the brackets.

Yeah I was really hesitant about drillng into the body. These mounts attach to the inner door seal 3 holes each side. And I just ran the wires down the side of the windshield into the engine bay. The wires tucked in nicely under the rubber weather stripping.

The bars look great.....and very bright. After driving at night for the first time, I am NOT impressed with these anemic projectors. My Durango had xenon at least. Either LED headlamps or HID in my future.

I'm looking to put a bar under my grill. Any suggestions? Size/brand?? I'm not looking to spend $500 on a light bar, but if anyone knows of a decent brand for >$200 let me know!

Seeing your truck makes me want the dual light bar. I'm just too scared to drill into the roof. Plus need to find a good bracket for a lower light bar.

I purchased an "Eyourlife" 52" light bar from amazon for $150..I haven't heard of the brand before but it does have a 2 year warranty. I'm waiting till fall to install it because I'm in alaska and it gets to 22 hours of sunlight so there is no point in installing now haha:waytogo:

CJC off-road, the brackets were 116 delivered best I found. The brackets are riveted to the inner door seal.

Im' confused. how do you rivet them into the door jams? Just some kind of rivet gun or something? Are the rivets strong enough to hold the bracket and light bar? I REALLY want to do this. any help would be great!!!

Paton, wouldn't 52" be pretty long for under the grill?? I'm thinking in between the tow hooks (even though my 14 sport doesn't actually have tow hooks)

I got both bars from amazon, I'm in for just over $300 including both bars, mounting brackets, and wireless controller. I have no comparison between these bars and name brand bars, but these do a great job turning night into day.

wait wait wait...wireless controller??? link please?

There is a piece of adhesive felt on the bracket to protect the paint

so I called them today to see if these brackets will work with a 50" curved light..they guy said it might but he's not sure. Shouldn't it be the same other than maybe the hole alignment being slight off? I mean, they are both 50" right? or is a 50" curved not really 50" wide? ANy thoughts or help please? I really don't want a straight 50" bar..I'd much prefer the curved one on the roof to run the shape of the truck.

Hey Homebrew...how much wind noise are you getting from the roof mount? Are you getting any windshield vibration? I hope not. I just ordered those CJC brackets and a 50" Curved led lightbar for the roof.
