As many of you know I have a problem....I like to be able to see at night. :005:

I've been asked for some light output shots of everything, so enjoy. :birgits_tiredcoffee

My setup is:

5k Projector'd Switchbacks
55w 6k Projector'd heads and fogs
55w 5k HID'd Hella 700s (4x)
35w 5k Reverse HIDs (switched)

I have the projectors run so that when I click the high beam, the cutout drops in both the heads and fogs automatically, untimately creating 4 high beams.

Just heads and fogs:

Heads and fogs ("high beams" on - cutout dropped):

Heads, fogs, cutout dropped, with lightbar lights on:

Reverse light action too:

One more test from a different direction.

And my personal favorite:

Everything is running through this switch now; I love it!

Without even running the lightbar lights, the output from just the heads and fogs with the cutout dropped is just stupid bright. I'm VERY impressed with the projectors and completely sold on them now.

Yeah, mine still need to be adjusted a bit too. Can't tell it from the pics, but when I'm driving I can.

The projector has this cutoff, that's what gives the nice crisp line and keeps the HID bulb from scattering light everywhere. You click the high beams on (which triggers the cutoff to drop), and it scatters the light everywhere.

I love the switch panel. It's a little pricey (about $100), but well worth it IMO. The wiring is a little tricky, but very doable. Basically it's just like wiring a regular 3 pin switch, you just have to put the wires in a different order. Hit me up when you get it and are ready to install it. I'll walk you through it.

You can probably get it from the dealer with the part number. I picked mine online. Here's what you'd need. The panel and the pigtail connector is all you need. The rest is just basic wiring and a couple standard relays.

You'll love it. I am surprised how well the HIDs have held up in the reverse lights. Had them in there since April I think? And they are only cheap DDM but have been flawless.

^^ Exactly my plan! I want to have a seperate switch to hit for when I get my train horns. Hit the switch, train horns go off and light bar turns on! Not sure if thats possible or not. But I'm dreaming it up lol.

Thanks guys!

I pity the person to ever flash their high beams at me...they'll regret it. :D
