Hello all, was hoping someone can recommend some better headlight for my 2014 ram express. Stock lighting is really crappy. Thanxs

I have used many sets from them for several vehicles.

I used their LEDs on my 1500 quads and they give stock beam pattern, way brighter.

Well worth their low price.

I find this whole subject confusing.

I have halogen quads on my truck, but every thread I see about using HID and/or LEDs inside them end up talking about how its almost impossible to get it right....beam shines bright, but you either dont gain length of throw, end up blinding oncoming traffic, or both. Because the quad halogen assembly is not meant for HID or LED replacements.

Do some more reading on this forum about them then.

There are more happy campers than not with some of the better quality bulb replacements. Just dont get ebay/amazon cheapies and you are fine.

Check out the new morimoto 2stroke 2.0s. They are designed to be used in a halogen reflector housing as the have adjustable base so that you can line up the led chips in the same location as the halogen filament but puts out way more lumens.

They have some videos on youtube showing them and @Nick@GotExhaust can hook you up with a set.

That picture is from a fellow forum member that installed our led headlights.

You can find them here:

Hey, that looks familiar!

The lows installed easily and lined up perfectly right out of the box. I ended up needing the 9006 fogs which I had to reposition the adjustable base to get them lined up properly.

I've been driving a lot at night since I installed them and have not been flashed at all.

Way better than the factory halogens.

Scott,

Which ones did you order from them? Did you order the Raptor, Saber, or Lynx bulbs? Did you get the decoder boxes too? I've ordered many time from DDM over the past 10 years or so but never anything for a canbus vehicle and always HID stuff.

Thanks.

John

Can't remember which, but I think Raptor...might be wrong on that. Yes I got the CANbus decoders.

Stock headlights are crappy in a lot of vehicles, If you never had a Jeep JK, you don't know what crappy factory headlights are just yet :), kidding asides, the factory RAM fogs combined with the factory headligths do a very nice job together, i simply aimed the fogs a tad higher so i'm not just using them as rock lights, but actual useable fogs that can compliment the main headlights., i've found the combo to be just right for me.
