lights in tow hook space

Hello Maddog I just found this post after posting in another area im looking at installing lights also have all the equipment ready to go, but can find a wiring diagram for luv of me can you point me in right direction or tell me how you did them. I would like them to go off when key is off thanks

Have you searched for the KC daylighter wiring diagram?

That’s what I have currently behind my grill and used their harness/kit and diagram.

They work INDEPENDENTLY of the ignition. Can activate them at will; regardless of ignition.

That diagram might help you out. It’s on their website

Light kit harness postive wire to battery positive, negative to clean metal ground, inline relay and fuse were already in harness, routed harness through existing OEM wireloom on driver's side, fished the harness through the firewall through an existing grommet to the lower dash panel on the door side of the steering wheel, drilled a small pass through hole, mounted switch.

Wires from end of harnes to lights were crimp connected, heat shrinked and routed along the lower radiator support channel and up along side the radiator to the main harness.

No other connections, splicing or such things were needed as the harness came complete.

thanks i did buy a light kit harness relay to battery but it states to connect switch to a switched wire or low beam still trying to find an online wiring Diagram for a 2018 was thinking maybe a wire in dashboard area but not sure

Also check you state laws as some state say that Fog lights must shut off with High Beams !

The pilot 4 chanel remote is a nice add on also. After wiring all done I synced the remote to my homelink buttons so I had 1 homelink for my gate, 2nd for towhook flush mount pods, 3rd for behind grill 7"pods
