Hey guys. I am wanting to go with tow mirrors, but really hitting a bunch of obstacles. My truck is a 2015 Limited 1500 with standard mirrors and all the features like chrome, power fold, heat etc. I looked at all the cheapie aftermarket ones and passed for various issues in reviews with them. Then saw the 1A Auto Trail Ridge versions on Amazon with good reviews. I ordered a set of TR00068 they had as "used like new" for quite a bit less than retail. They showed up and looked perfect. Got them installed and they plugged right in, but nothing worked. 
I contacted 1A Auto through two different sources and both said they would not work with my truck because they were made to add the power fold feature to a non-power fold trucks. They said they had no other option for me except black which I don't want. Makes no sense, but it is what it is. Wish I could talk to a person instead of email or their chat thing which I assume is AI.
So, I decided to go OEM. My problem is The Mopar vendors say the part number for mirrors that came in 2500/3500 trucks will not work in my 1500. I cannot figure out why since the features are the same as are the plugs. My guess is it is saying not compatible because they did not come in my truck, not because it won't work.
Can anyone confirm if you can put power folding OEM tow mirrors in a truck with standard sized mirrors with the folding option? Thanks for any help, this is getting crazy.
