You do not need the TIPM kit. I have ordered 4 pairs of FluxBeams from Opt7 and all of them went on my 2012 Ram 1500. All you need is the ECM Capacitors that are automatically included in the regular FluxBeam kit. You do not need the TIPM Resistors. I know the 06-08 Rams need them and other Dodge/Chrysler models, but the 4th gen Rams only need the ECM Capacitors that are plug-n-play in-line with the LED bulb and driver.

I have not personally installed them on the 13+ projectors, but I know other members have and they've said the dust cap will bolt back on but it's a tight fit.

Fogs installed first. Will pull light housing next for both the high and low bulbs. Fiddled with the orientation, but locked right in. HUGE difference, and its still daylight out.. first is orientation. Looks like I need new lenses soon [emoji848]. Second pix, It kinda shows lo beans are YELLOW compared to these But In person very obvious. I'll take more at night to show difference before I install the rest. [emoji41][emoji16]

Additional pix installing LEDs.. super happy with the install.. image against the garage door when I compared driver side LED to passenger sylvania silverstar halogen. I used tape markers to see what adjustments were needed.. had to set slightly lower for the LED. First garage pix is with only fog LEDs installed.

Thanks. I did adjust the pass. Fog to set pattern better. They are kinda easy to rotate once u see how the tabs are set. I was going to add high today (9005 ) but rain kept me in. I'll take better install pix then.

I had went with the Opt7 and quickly returned them. They are way too bright (don't be that guy is what I thought). Not only that but the resistor melted bad, too much stuff to put in that housing unless you are going to mount it outside and drill through your dust cap, I was not about that life.

I decided to try the Sylvania Silverstar Ultra and the Phillips X11. I took two different road trips through the Nevada desert at night and the Sylvania's out shined the Phillips big time. I'm now running the Sylvania's in the lows, highs and fogs. I constantly get flashed by folks thinking my highs are one. The distance and brighness is amazing!
