I drive a 2015 dodge ram 1500 3.0L Eco diesel, lately I’ve been having some kind of electrical issue. What’s been happening is it takes a minute for the battery to get to 14V, once I start driving after letting it run for a minute it flashes on the screen “battery low voltage” and the voltage reads 12V then jumps back to 13-14V, it then takes a while of running before I can turn on heated seats or the fan on max and it to stay at 14V. I have replaced the battery and that has not solved the issue, while the truck was running I disconnected the battery and it continued to run meaning the alternator is working, when a multi meter was put on the battery the voltage was steady meaning the voltage regulator should be fine right? And while driving the headlights, radio sound, and interior lights have not been flashing or increasing and decreasing in brightness meaning it isn’t a bad ground I think? Do you have any idea of what I should test or look for? Or any way to just solve it? There is no engine light on or code related to the battery that shows up so I’m at a loss. Any idea?
