Enjoying my first RAM.

Like many people on the forum, don’t like the OEM level of brightness. I’ve see a lot of posts with people wrapped up in electrical issues because of swaps, etc.

Simple question, help me understand a simple solution where I can achieve brighter lights through mainstream bulb swap. Or tell me what the heck I should stay away from.

Brand/Model what you like/dislike.

Thanks!

Do you have the projector lights or non-projector type?

I am using Vanquish Auto LED direct replacement bulbs in my quad lights. No issues at all. They are canbus ready, no anti flicker module needed. Literally bulb only.
Not the cheapest option out there but sometimes cheaper isnt better!!

Ive got those in my headlights 2014 quads. They are very good, on my 2014 did not need any cancelers or anything. When you flip them to yellow, you will see every sign, reflector, moth, fart that is in front of you. There is a coupon code to save 10 bucks on youtube, not my code or page but I will help if you need it.

The white is very white, the yellow is intense, and you can mix so the white will ride low on the close yellow on the far.

Since I basically have the technical capability of a sign language ape, can you tell me more about the H11 to H9?

Because basically, H11 to H9 means you sunk my Battleship.

Thanks. Looking for something a little more plug and play. Don’t want to meddle or modify after reading some of the posts about others who chase problems in their electrical system.

Go with the Opt-7 Fluxbeam X LEDs. Work right out the box with our trucks, includes the Anti-Flicker capacitor you will need and they are on sale until July 18th.

www.opt-7.com

The sale is only on Amazon, so search for Opt7 on Amazon and you will see the Fluxbeams on sale.

I've used them multiple times on my Rams and love them.

Thanks for the recommendation. So, being a newb, are these low beams only? Options for high beams, etc?

I see the bulbs marked H11(H8, H9, H16)?

It just means that the H11 bulb is the same as the H8, H9 and H16. So any of those 4 bulbs will fit into each other's plugs and bulb holders. The reason they have different numbers is because each one (H11, H8 etc) have different brightness and lumen output. Really not much other difference. But any of those will fit in the H11 socket and plug.

What model headlights do you have on your Ram? Dual style? Quad Style or the 13+ OEM Projectors?
