I want a spray in when I bought the truck but did have the time to wait to have it done And man I wish I did. The bed is all scratched and now the have the capper I don’t know if I should or not. Do they off gas a lot of fumes ?

Scratches don’t matter! Trust me. Do it. You won’t regret it. Also, yes. It stinks. I have a solid tonneau cover and it smelled for probably a year. Still kinda does on hot days [emoji2369]. I love it. Best $500 I’ve ever spent on a vehicle. Worry free IMO.

Honestly I’ve seen the stuff from dealers and either it’s a different line x material or what. But it looks dry and grey if that makes any sense [emoji1787]. Mine is jet black and has more of a rubbery texture to it

yeah i'd say mine is grey black looking but aside from spraying it out with water and no detergent when its a bit dirty i do nothing with it. and i would say its pretty hard. i put a rubber mat from home depot on it last week to cover most of it, just to protect a bit more.

No doubt you should wait! Yeah, they sand it and scuff up the clear coat. Mine had decent scratches and they didn’t care.

If you don’t want that lip you see when tailgate is closed tell them so they can mask it off. Not sure if they always do there but they did on mine. To be honest at first I wasn’t impressed as I liked the look of paint there but after hauling rocks, dirt, wood chips etc I’m glad i have it there as rocks got jammed in there and if it had been painted it would be scratched pretty bad!
