Little bit of interior work done

Unfortunately the little piece by the ignition had to come out as it was causing the panel around the key hole to move and it was making the key stick. I might find a way to work around this because it looks less complete without it. I really need help with the glove box area. I couldnt find any way to make it work around it and have the glove box still be functional. i might have to remove the lid and have some pieces stapled to the top of it or maybe go all the way around? and im not really sure what the lid is made out of so im not sure if that will even work.

I also plan on painting all the silver trim pieces Red once i get some time off to tear the interior apart. UGHHH so much i want to do to the truck so little time off...

I've been thinkin' of doin' something like this. I have some red as I painted some of my dash bezels red. Has anyone put any of this stripping in the doors? I'd like to see what it looks like.

It's molding strip. Can find it all over ebay and in multiple colors.

Don't mean to change subjects, but is that radio OEM or aftermarket? I have an 09 and want the leather dash and radio in mine.
