Load resistor - LED Tails Question

What are the proper specs for the LED tail light load resistors? I am getting 5 and 6 ohm in my searches and even came across another forum saying .5ohm - which made little sense to me...

I'm using VLED resistors. My 2016 was very picky and this combination has been quite effective for almost 2 years albeit I have the older models without the duotap. The duotap makes the install super easy and clean.
