Just checking if anyone has this issue.
Upon leaving the vehicle I have to hit the door lock button a bunch of times before the door will lock.
I tested it with a meter and the switch is 100% fine. It is almost like the BCM needs to think about it or a process needs to end first before the doors lock.

When I first got my truck the unlock was intermittent and a couple times would not unlock any doors. They rebooted the RF hub and it has worked fine since.

Are you talking about the door lock on the fob or on the door handle? I've had this issue with the one on the handle, sometimes it takes 3 or 4 presses to lock the door. My wife has a 2015 Cherokee with the same pushbutton and hers works first time every time.

I had it in the dealer for something else and asked them to check it out and, of course, it was "working fine". Then they tried to teach me how to use them - "make sure your hand isn't behing the handle when you push the button". I have noticed now that it's cold it seems to be worse. But I think I have to wait until it stops working completely before I bring it in again.

The door lock button on the arm rest. Sometimes it will lock on the first push , sometimes it is many before it locks.
On a second note. The steering wheel control for Cruise. Sometimes I need to hit that 5 or 6 times just to have the cruise come on too. Strange. (PS Its a 2018 with 9000 miles)

Had the handle issue on both my 2015 and 2017 Limited. First time the dealer said it was a "lock module"? but didn't fix it. Changed the actual handle and worked 100% on both.

Hi TEC Tactical,
That's understandable. We are available once that time comes around, if needed!

My push button on the handle does that if I try to lock it immediately.
If I close the door and count to 5, then push the button it will lock no problem.

Intermittent issue with outside door handle button, of course it would not act up when the dealer checked it.

My 2019 Rebel intermittently will not allow me to lock the doors with the button on the door handle. It will function if I wait a bit ( never timed it). The FOB will work all the time. It feels like the truck is busy doing something else and ignores my action.

Hello JD RamGuy,
We understand why this may be frustrating. We suggest having your dealer inspect this concern if you have not done so already. If you decide to go this route, we are also available via private message if you would like any additional assistance during that process.

I was going to change out my screw on lock button but as I was unscrewing it I checked to see if it would still lock and it wouldnt.I screw it down a little more and it would lock intermittently.I kept screwing it down and eventually it would lock first time every time.I dont know if something inside the door was turning with the button or not but it did work after doing this.I just left the factory lock knob thingy on it instead

Just an 4/20/21 update. After many visits to the dealership (s)
Still no resolution. It's still doing it and still ,"no issues found".

Same exact thing over here.
One thing I do notice is that "sometimes" on the first push of the button, I hear my tailgate lock... second or third push - all doors.
Maybe its a "feature"?!? ;-)
