There are some pretty solid techniques to repairing holes in engine blocks. You see it more in tractors and heavy equipment than you do on cars.
This being in the skirt of the block is a best case scenario.
The engine slung a rod because of a hyrolock. It needs a piston, rod, replace bent intake valve, a windage tray, oil pan repair and of course the hole in the block fixed.
It is from a 04 Durango and they had a known issue of the intake manifold cracking. To top that there was another known issue of instead of draining way rain water from the cowl, it dump it on top of the engine.
