Got the goods just in time for the new year though i only picked one 5.0 battery instead of 2, but the rapid charger instead of the standard charger. I wanted to try the 5.0 battery first to see how long it last and wait for a good deal on the 6.0's. I read the 5.0's are kind of obsolete ? and that i should be getting the 6.0 HO in the Milwaukee line.
In any case here is the mid torque one 2962-20, rapid charger and 5.0 battery

Compared to my 5 yo HF one that hasn't failed me. it just don't have a lot of torque to remove anything past 100lbs.
According to HF web site, the specs are 450lbs busting torque, Bauer 1782C-B. yeah right.... that's why i bought the Kobalt below, rated at 350lbs but have removed hub nuts from my vehicles where as the $99 HF one can't even leaving the thing in there full on for 30-40sec
. I'm still keeping it cause its perfect for torquing things down without fear i'll bust a bolt/lugnut etc

And compared to my also 5 yo wired Kobalt, 350lbs busting/350 forward torque she has done the job well but it's heavy as heck
, this would go in my garage as backup of the backup. or maybe i'll sell it cheap in Craiglist. will see.
Compared to new addition 650lbs busting torque, 550 lbs forward.
