Hey Duane!

I was just browsing on your site and was just looking at future purchases.... I didnt see a lowering kit for a 4wd Crew Cab. Can you get them at all?? If so what would the price be. Thanks!

Well, no luck on one being specifically for a 4wd. All I can find is for a 2wd. I need you to check and see if you have coil springs front and rear..

Ground Force is the only company who makes drop kits for 09+ 4WD trucks. Belltech and McGaughys only offer 2wd kits.

Bingo. GF 9984 if I recall correctly. I think the cheapest I have ever seen for it was about $640 plus shipping ($15 ground, $23 2nd day air from the place I found).

Thats freakin' cheap.........for that kit anyway.

If the spindles are the same between the 4wd's and the 2wd's for the the 4th Gens then you can piece together your drop kit. I did this to my last truck with a McGaughy's 2/4 drop kit. You need the 2" lowering spindles for the front end. The rearend between the 4wd and 2wd should be the same for the 4th Gens so that will be a simple choice. Good luck and it will look pretty sweet too. I wouldn't pay much attention to all the other guys who talk down about lowering a 4wd. It's still a very functional truck that will go just about anywhere you need it to. Good luck. Duane will help hook you up.

I am not sure if the spindles are the same on the 2wd and 4wd. I know earlier years were, but I don't know about the new models...
