I bought a set of stock wheels and tires off a 4th gen 3500 to put on my 05 2500. When I got home I put the new wheels and tires on but the threads seem to be different. It wouldn't be a big deal usually but the wheels from the 4th gen are the tradesman wheels and they have the ram center hub cap. I need the right lug nuts so the hubcaps don't fly off. Does anyone have any insight on this?

4th gen HD thread pitch is 14mm diameter x 1.5mm fine thread

3rd gen HD thread pitch is 9/16" diameter x 18 national fine thread

I ran into this when I bought my 2014 HD. I traded in the 2007 HD and wanted to swap over the XD wheels. The lugnuts off the 2007 wouldn't work on the 2014 due to the thread pitch difference.

Use your stock lug nuts.
