On newsstands now, one of the mags - Car & Driver or Motor Trend - have a compare with the F150, one an ecoboost the other a 5.0. Very interesting article. Everyone (on the Ford side) rave about the ecoboost and it's power etc. Well that 5.0 was right there too. They still picked the eco, but the 5.0 was just as good. It has 385 hp now, that's right at the Hemi power level. I hope Ram takes notice and offers some sweet options on the new design, a nice 430-450 hp goal would seem reasonable and realistic I would think. We can all dream about a 6.4 475 hp option, but that's just what we want, Ram will do the cost effective things. Just hoping they see the competition and choose to make a good bump. If history shows anything, whatever engine(s) they go with, it could be with us for many years to come. How long has the 395 hp version of the Hemi been here??? I'm actually asking.
