I was wondering if this happens to anyone else. I have the Uconnect service on my 2016 Ram Big Horn. About once a week lately I get a notification from the app via push notification and email that the Malfunction Indicator Light was detected. The issue is it never came on while I was driving it. Also, in the email it tells you to click a link to go to the Mopar website to log in. When I do that and look at the vehicle health report it doesn't show any issues. I even hooked my scanner up to it to be sure and nothing comes up. At this point I am just ignoring the notifications. Like I said at the start, just curious if anyone else has this happen to them.

I started having this issue on my 2017 Ram 4x4 ( currently 22,000 miles ) in 2021 right after Dodge went from 3G to 4G and I purchased the 4G Adapter and installed. The malfunction light will not be on constantly Yet I get these push notifications saying it is. I am not sure why but, I keep truck in garage and generally it will be parked for 3 + hrs when I receive notifications. Between calling dealer, Uconnect and Mopar support explaining the issue and only once I was told , ignore unless light stays on constantly, that there is a glitch throwing a false signal and they were trying to find a cause / correction. I have no stored error codes and if light comes on and stays on, I will get it checked out.
Dealer did say I could bring it in to have Diagnostic performed for 189.00 . Auto parts store for free checks and no codes stored..
