Malfunction indicator light,

MIL light came on today, the owners manual says its onboard emissions and engine control systems, its a 4.7 2WD crew cab, honestly I don't have a clue, can someone please point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance. Andy.

It'd be helpful to know the code(s). IIRC, if you don't have a scanner, turn the key on/off three times in succession WITHOUT starting but leaving it in the ON position. Thrown codes show up where the odometer displays.

Mate thanks for that advice, I have just tried the three times ignition and the fault code is, p0441, do you know what the problem could be. I'm from England, information on these trucks is hard to come by, I truly appreciate your help, Andy.
found it, Evap purge flow monitor, now to find it in the truck.
