Hey y'all just thought i would share i just bought these tires in a 10 ply 305/70r18 for my 2017 ram 2500 4x4 hemi
These are considered a hybrid At/Mt tire
Simple tire specs these at 35.08 tall 12.5 wide
Of course only time will tell on the wear rate of the tire but for the fist 500 miles they seem awesome
They started with balancing beads and they didn't work well so i took it back and they removed the beads and spin balanced then.
Went for about 300 miles and they are smooth as silk now
They seem fairly aggressive but they just barely hum at all at 70-75 and they handle the road very smooth
I got into a little mud and had no issues there either. No rain yet to see how they do on wet pavement
Maybe this weekend. Anyways thought i would share these were $1220 out the door all 4 mounted and balanced for a 35 seems reasonable only time will tell
The max peessure is 65 so I'll have to deal with the light till i can lower the alarm point but for now it's no big deal
First thing i noticed is the tread is really thick and supposed to be siped for wet weather and they are studdable
These should go well with my upcoming gear swap lol

Just curious if they are 2 or 3 ply sidewall! Imo, these heavy trucks favor a 3 ply sidewall ....
Thanks for sharing your find, more choices, especially affordable ones, are always a good thing!

According to this it's a 2 ply mastercraft are pretty popular in my area mostly the AXT and the MXT but i couldn't find the axt in the size i wanted and didn't really want the mud tire for my driving habits
Hopefully these will be good

I looked at the st maxx they are very close i think they were a little more expensive.
For me most of my driving is highway not much off roading at all.
I might get into a little mud here and there but no rock crawling or any of that. I do country road drive on occasion.
I had ironman mt on their before these but the more they wore the louder they got. We use cooper on our tuck at work and they are great so i figured maybe good luck with these
Only time will tell but do far st about 500 miles i am extremely happy with them.

Mickey Thompson, Cooper, and mastercraft are all made by cooper usa.

I have mastercrafts on the front of my 2wd service truck, its not worth paying more for 3 ply coopers on a truck that won't be spinning its front tires.

That's crazy. I have 38000+ on my Mickey thompsons and have probably another 10000 left in them. I was considering going cooper next time to save a few dollars but I may just go with what I know works

Ya me to. That's also rotating them every 4000 miles and running them at 50 psi not the 80psi

I got over 50k on mine running 33x12.5R20's pulling trailers grossing over 30k at times. I still had tread to spare but ruined one and replaced the set.

Strange, I had 35" ST Maxx tires on my truck and they wore very well. I'm not exactly easy on tires either so was generally happy with the wear.

Stock size. I want to go bigger but next size up is 35/12.50s I'm not sure if they will fit on my stock wheels.
That's what I'm looking at doing. On 18 inch stock rims. Might have to do 315 70r18
