I have a 2010 1500 trx4 and its basically all stock and I am trying to plan out what I want to do to it. After reading through posts, I'm going to do bilsteins @2.1 because I will be towing a boat every now and then and I currently have ~2.5" of rake maybe alittle more. What I am not sure about though is the tire size. I'm not sure how wide the stock rims are, but is there a limit on how wide the tire can be for the stock rims? And if not, what is the widest I can go so that I'm not rubbing the uca. I'm looking to get 34" tires btw and any suggestions would be appreciated.

to be completely safe 285's would be the widest. 295's may or may not rub

oh and welcome to RF

Thank you, I have the stock 275/70/17's on it right now and there's about an inch or so of clearance between the sidewall and uca. So a 285/70/17 would be about a 33" tire and 295/70/17 a 33.5"? I would rather not buy new wheels as that is more $$ and spacers are out of the question.

295/70-17 will rub due to the width, 285/70-17 will clear. Or you could get 285/75-17 which is about 34" x 11.5"
