Sorry meant to post in ‘other vehicles’ but it is just as we all **** and moan about dealers I thought I’d share this little nugget!

My son is a real muppet when it comes to vehicles. I suppose I did it all for him too much. Now he’s away in his last year at college I am glad he has found a really straight dealer to get his car done. Yes, it costs more than Jiffy Lube but at least I feel happy knowing he had it done correctly not just quick oil change and kick the tyres.

It really should be done by all dealerships. That certainly would let me know the real story when my wife or kids drop off a vehicle for service. It would save me from calling the dealership or stopping after work.

Maybe they do for other things? Don’t know off hand. I thought it was great as far as it went. Filters checked, wheels off brake check/measure. Tyre depth checked etc etc .
My son is no mechanic so this was great for him

As a tech, I would hate this. Not because im looking to sc**w with people, but on book time, it slows you down and costs you money (wages), and I hate even having my picture taken, let alone narrate video like David Attenborough every half hour!!

Welp as a tech **** that I'd be looking for a different shop. You either trust me or you don't. My work speaks for itself as well as my ability to inform, educate and humor my customers. I mean taking pics of failed parts is one thing but this is ridiculous.
