We currently have 2 Mopars, a 2017 Jeep GC 3.6 and my 2013 Ram. These have honestly been the most reliable vehicles my wife and I have had in the last 15 years. Yes there's been recalls, but all of which we have been offered a loaner for and FCA had the parts ready to go. The worst brand of vehicles we've had was by far Ford. A 2002 Explorer, 2002 Focus, and a 2007 Focus. All 3 had all kinds of problems and cost us quite a bit of money. We've also had 3 Nissans, a 2006 Frontier, 2011 Altima, and a 2014 Rogue. My Frontier needed a radiator at 32k which is ridiculous. The Rogue had multiple recalls which Nissan didn't have the parts to fix for months. One of which was the fuel pump wiring that could catch fire. I made them give my wife a loaner until they had the parts in. It also wouldn't blow hot air in the winter randomly which in New England is a pretty big problem. The Altima was a good car I will say.
However having had the tick, I am concerned with the future of my cam and lifters. I plan on keeping this truck for at least another 5 years but if it needs $3000+ worth of work I may consider moving on.
