Figured I would ask the gurus over here what they think of this from Meguiars. Sorry if this has been mentioned, did a quick search and nothing came up.

It's called 'Meguiars DA Power System. Looks to attach to a standard drill and then you polish, buff, etc.

I thought it looked pretty nice, being as I am in an apartment and have zero access to any plugs. Not really wanting to hand wax a QCSB truck, already Fukked it and that was a process in itself.

Yay or nay?

Try adams buttery wax you can literally wax your truck by hand in about a half hour, there's no long cure time.. You can literally apply and take off, unbelievably easy

Their pads and system are pretty good. I was looking for someone that might have posted a review but couldn't find it.

A shiny one
I've never personally used it, so I can't comment on it's effectiveness. It does seem like holding a drill up like that would get uncomfortable in a short time though.

That being said, I like to use my drill for spot correcting deeper scratches and a D/A or orbital for the rest of the polishing work. Combining the two just seems...strange to me.

Waxing is supposed to be EASY, not a chore. That's the final step before you can stand back and admire your work!!

^ what he said. I would only use it for spot, or headlight correction. Buy a real DA if you plan to do your whole truck.

I would like to buy a real DA to do my whole truck but heres the problem. I live in an apartment complex with zero access to any plugs, hence the interest in something that is cordless.

So I am stuck outside with no power.
