I have a 2014 Ram with nav in my uconnect. I really would like to have carplay capability but don't really want to purchase aftermarket radios. A couple (at least) Chinese offerings are Merge Screens and Joyeauto that have a module that attaches to the system and a card that is inserted into the radio.
Does anyone have any experience with these or have any recommendations?

Been running THIS one in my 15 for a few months now. No issues so far, install is relatively simple, and my only complaint is the video quality of the backup camera fell off a little.

So what did that do to the stuff that you used to see on your OEM screen, ie, a/c controls. Did it use the stock back-up camera?
I put something like that in my 2001 GMC that worked okay for a while, but now is just radio and back-up camera. The other stuff doesn't work that great.

I ordered the 14" merge screen and it took right at 1 month to come in and when I open the box, the back of the unit looked like somebody took a grinder to it. We couldn't get tech help putting it in and when I tried to get customer support to get it return and get my money back, it's like pulling teeth. I do not recommend Merge Screen. I eve used their installer.
