Everywhere I have looked has the mevo's backordered. You can get one but not the other. Anyone else having any trouble finding both?

Also, I have my Bils and my rear spacer waiting to get put on. Should I just do it then put mevo's on after or just screw the mevo's and chance it?

With Bilsteins you shouldn't have any issues with ball joints popping as they keep the suspension travel within OEM specs. I would just go ahead and install everything. The point where you'll need to be careful is when you go to reinstall the strut in the truck. If you overextend the suspension at that point you may pop the ball joint out. I'd recommend unbolting the steering knuckle from the upper ball joint for the install so you avoid that issue.

As I remember reading about leveling and lifting our trucks it seems that the guys that are setting the Bil's at 2.8 and the guys that are using leveling kits(spacers) seem to be having more problems than the guys with settings of 2.1 and lower. I KNOW THAT THERE ARE EXCEPTIONS. On my 13 I had the Bils set at 2.1 and never had a problem with the stock UCA or ball joints. On my new 16 I put the Med's on just for piece of mind. It's really a crap shoot. You can just install the Bil's and never have one problem or you can install them w/o the Med's and go around the block and the ball joint can start to push out. As someone said a long time ago in a movie---"Do you feel lucky, punk" You can always put the med's on later---Good Luck

CARid, had a few in stock, about 3-5 days shipping time. My Bils are set to 2.5, wish i went 2.8, but no regrets. I put Mevo's on because there was a thread on here were people with Bils were also having issues with ball joints popping. There like 100$ for the pair, cheap insurance. Plus there serviceable

I tried carid they said they were in stock but then when I placed the order they call me back in 30 minutes and told me they were out of stock. Now I have to wait 3-5 days to get my money back! $90 is cheap insurance though! I am not sure if I should wait and install with the mevo's just for the insurance. I have 2 little girls that would be riding in the truck. Don't want to chance that!

Amazon has some here and there, give them a try. They were easy to put in, so if you cant get them in when you pull everything out, i wouldnt worry about it. just order them and put them in when you get them...

Make sure you PAINT them, they will rust

If this is your concern... Do you really think that the absolute cheapest, aftermarket UCAs that you can get, are the best option? People have problems with mevotechs also.

We can argue about saving a few bucks on lights, the stereo, the air cleaner, even paint/powdercoat vs plasti-dip. Please, please don't ever sacrifice any quality on suspension/control parts when you share the road with others (specifically me) and especially when you have little ones you ride with.

Both my Mevo's were trashed within 6 months. First left balljoint was mush after 1K highway miles, replacement went 4K miles later, then other side failed a week ago and is extremely loose, and bushing are bad. Threw on my stockers, went to dealership and they replaced the stock ones under warranty.

Screw the Mevo's, i put them on and the left side ball joint popped within a week. My Bilsteins were, and still are set at 2.1.

I am definitely with you on all points but I really don't know if uca are needed at all. That is my point and if they are not then I especially don't want to waist a lot of money on zone or other companies uca if mevo's work
