Mid-MO Meet 08.13.2011

Well I was trying to upload all 156, but living in BFE is not conducive to that, therefore I only got 10 loaded before getting annoyed and canceling, but here is a teaser until JJ gets home and uploads all his. We had 5 trucks come out, myself, JJ, BH4L, and the two more KC guys that should be joining up soon.

Ehh. Just looked like the others. Not a 9 inch lift truck. But I don't know much about the height on IFS trucks. Maybe they are that way.

another thing to keep in mind........the 3rd gens "look" taller between the hood and roof. Trust me, standing next to it, its f'n tall.

And Scotts (bighorn4life) truck is actually rather massive, its proportions are deceiving in pictures. I just have to add, going 85 mph with him down the highway is a pretty sweet site. The top of a ford escape is about level with the top of his hood. AWESOME TRUCK!!!

You beleive on my way home some fool in a Titan wanted to race.. This fool just kept getting beside me and and goosing it. He wasn't a kid either.. Mid fourties I suppose.. I ignored him for the first couple but I couldn't resist, So I made him look really, really stupid. Then I slow down he catches up ands gives me a thumbs up. Pffft! What was he thinking!

I was a little off my game today...........I started taking pics with my new sunglasses on, couldn't see ****. Then, I put my glasses on and had issues adjusting. LOL

It was fun though - I love taking pics! I just wish it wouldn't have rained on the way home, I had a spot I was going to take the truck to and snap off some more pics. Stupid rain.

We got a torrential downpour around 5-5:30 tonight, got close to half an inch. Truck needed a bath anyways LOL

Ya Wendy I like that one too . It rained Jeremy?? We never got any rain here like always lol.

I got close to home......and it just opened up. I wasn't enthused.

Heck, I got about half way home and one of the MODOT led signs on the side of the road said "I-70 Closed at MM 206 find alternate route". ****........

I hopped off at exit 193 (Warrenton) and took the service road about 10 miles. The highway was backed up for about 4 miles, dead stop. I was tooling along at 65-70 on the service road. Got to the exit where they were getting everyone off the highway and saw the MASSIVE amounts of people doing the service road there. I knew that 5 miles down the road it would be a bite and a half.........so I took another road 6 miles over to another connecting highway. It added about 15 minutes to my time. It just amazed me that hardly ANYBODY pays attention to those highway signs!

It was some granny in a SXT from Massachusetts. LOL Crazy old woman couldn't pick a speed. Kept ******* me off until I got REALLY close to her........she moved over, I opened the cutout when I got next to her (at about 4K) and I saw her jump. LOL
