Hey guys, I really need help here. Im new to the ram world. I just bought a 2002 dodge ram 1500 4.7L magnum for a great deal. When i bought it battery was pretty bad, changed it and now it starts and idles great. My only problem is, im getting the check engine light on with code p1391 (loss of camshaft and crank) only. I bought the camshaft and crankshaft sensors from the dealer and code still there. Called the dealer, and dealer said need to drive 3 long trips. While i was doing the 3 long trips, i realized if i step little hard on the gas, it shakes a little between 2500-3500 rpm. It could be in a limp mode as I read many going through the same issue. Bu i'm only getting the p1391 only, could this be a bad pcm and also could this code put it in the limp mode? Also my friend scooped it for the timing and said timing is still good.
Any help would be great please.

Thank you

I can't help you, but you will probably find more help in 2nd or 3rd Gen threads. Maybe we can get a moderator to move this post there. There is lots of help here, someone will chime in I'm sure.

Thank you very much, yeah sorry just trying to learn everything about this forum. Pretty cool things going on and very helpful people helping others. Hope they can move it, instead of making a new one in the 2nd-3rd gen forum.
Thanks
