I was surfing youtube today and came across the Mini Mega Ram giveaway built by either dieselpowergear.com or dieselsellerz.com...not sure which or if they are the same thing. I thought I would share. It is one of the best looking Rams I've seen. A few of the details listed on the site are a BDS 6” lift w/Fox RR Coilovers, 40x15.5R20 Patriot tires, Fiberwerx hood, bed and pre-runner fenders, Fusion bumpers, lots of custom lighting, etc. Nice!!! The giveaway is over BTW.

Monday Nights on Discovery Channel. 9pm central I believe. Right after Fast and Loud.

it is an interesting show to see what they build. Not really my kind of truck. but pretty cool none the less. I just dont have the desire nor the dinero to do that much to my truck.

The only thing that kind of irritated me on the build is they used adapters to get to an 8 lug wheel. I'm sure it's strong enough but why not just a 5 lug wheel

I agree...other than going 8 lug just for the novelty, it makes no sense.

I'm curious as to why the 8 lug conversion also ..... maybe the wheel offset needed or to get the look of the wide stance... Might have just figured since they have to put spacers on to widen the track width might as well make them 8 bud on the wheel end? just guessing.

But the Mini Mega Ram is the most practical truck I have seen them build so far... and I have been following them and their builds in the diesel world for years.

maybe they had some 8 lug wheels laying around(which they probably have a ton of) and just found it cheaper to or make the adapters

Don't over think the eight bolts, they are closer to the Mega Ram wheels that the five bolt and the object is to make the mini look like to the Mega.

Nice truck and an interesting show.

That's right about the 8 lug wheels. It sold for 75k.

Watched it tonight. Very good looking truck and it's a loaded Laramie underneath. Was wondering why they took top top line and not a big horn or express tore it apart. Regardless, $75k is not too bad considering what they did to it.

Time to nut $5 in parts!!

I will definitely agree, it was the most practical build they have done that I have seen.

I watch the show also. The tires are too big and stuffed looking for my taste but it's still a beautiful rig. Did anyone else notice during the show that when they were doing the test drives and going over the hills the back tires were rubbing and actually seemed to be hitting the wheel wells pretty hard? That can't be good especially with a $75K price tag.

I agree the tires looked stuffed. It was an eco diesel and they said it had enough power and didn't do anything to the motor. Looks sweet, but to much money for a truck that rubs that bad.

What I think would make more sense is a 3"-4" suspension with 37s. With the proper offset there should be no clearance issues with those baja fenders.
