Hey there, new to this forum, was referred here by a couple of members.
I have 2 "minirams" aka Dakota r/t's. Both 1999, Black regular cab with lots of mods and a solar yellow ext. cab completely stock except for 50mm throttle body and kegger mod with aluminum plate kit.
I got my black Dakota R/T and the mod addiction started. MY first mod was a 50mm throttle body. Next the plenum pan blew out.
I currently work full time (fiberglass fabrication) and go to college full time (welding) as well. Busy Busy Busy..
I'm the guy that has been talked about on a couple throttle body threads.
I started modding 3.9, 5.2, 5.9 throttle bodies in my spare time, seeing the need for a budget 50mm throttle body, seeing most companies want an arm and a leg for them, with lots of trial and error I have got them down to a science. Then I decided to try my luck at 52mm and offer them as well, keep in mind, my throttle bodies usually run about 100 bucks cheaper than the other modded stock casting throttle bodies. I have ventured into 4.7 throttle bodies as well as 3.5 intrepid/300M.
My next low buck alternative for dodge and jeep owners is the aluminum plenum plate kit, this is a great deal and practically half of what APS or Hughes sells them for.
Like all of you, I want quality parts but in reality we all have a budget that we have to live by. Myself included. I am not out to get rich but help out dodge owners with the poor design of factory parts at a very reasonable price.
I am not on here to sell throttle bodies and plenum pans, I enjoy hearing about stories and articles about my throttle bodies, a raving review always lets me know that I am helping a fellow mopar owner out and that he is happy and satisfied. This is my reason for doing what I do.
If anyone is interested in know more about me, just ask.
As far as the Black Dakota AKA The Beast. Stock bottom end, M1, MP headers, true 2 1/2 duals with cut outs and no cats, F&B 52mm, 24 lb injectors, SCT tuned, Built tranny w/2800 stall, Fan delete, AC delete, Zex wet, Shaker hood.
Coming soon.. RHS MA-X heads, Comp .512 cam, Crane Gold roller rockers, fresh bottom end.
