mirror dimmer? side mirror dim??

hey guys my truck is a big horn with 8.4 and 911/assist mirror that dims... i was driving it at night and i swear my drivers side mirror dims at night... but the passenger one does not....? is the passenger mirror sops to dim or not? if it is and its not working i wanna have it covered under my 36k warranty.

I've never noticed if my drivers side mirror dims on my BigHorn. Guess I'll have to pay more attention.

Normal, on build sheet it shows that one side is dimmable only. Check the glass out , driver side mirror has a thicker black frame on it which is the dimable version. Passanger side is just heated.

Obviously the Laramie or LTD crowd will chime and state both theirs dim. But ours is normal.

Well, the window sticker from mine does say "Auto Dimming Exterior Mirrors", but I don't see it on the build sheet....so I am guessing it went away with the addition of the optional towing mirrors ???

My 2015 sport does this.. I thought I was going crazy and that the passenger side was broken. Glad to know it's supposed to be this way.

My 2011 Big horn has heated and dimming outside and dimming inside mirror. The power button for it is on the rear view mirror.

do you mean where you turn on heated seats and the button is red? or a different setting for the side mirrors? other than that i haven't really looked through the settings menu

does anyone know how i can find out if both are sops to dim on mine or only the drivers? i have a big horn, the build sheet says auto dim exterior mirror. but others have stated around the web both theirs dim? or is it a matter of trim level?

yea i have the button turned on all the time and the drivers side mirror dims at night and the review mirror dims but my passenger doesn't.....

I have a 2013 longhorn Laramie and only the driver side dims, bugs the hell out of me.
