Mirror swap

Ditched my tow mirrors for power fold this afternoon. I left the tow mirror extra support bracket in place. Was it okay to leave them in place or should I have taken them off?

Shouldn't be an issue as long as the new mirror studs were long enough. Not needed on standard mirrors but shouldn't hurt to have them on
