This is my first dodge and after driving it now for 2 weeks I have noticed that everywhere I'm turning weather it be in a parking lot , street or even a intersection I found my self having a hard time seeing past the side mirrors to see where im going . and I noticed that the stock mirrors take up most of the view from the left front side .. I'm ready too :superhack: them off agh

Anyone else having this kinda of difficulty and what mirrors are out there that are smaller but still look great for a lifted 98 dodge ram 1500 .. ?

The only mirrors that are smaller are the Street Scene SS mirrors like what I have on mine

I guess I haven't noticed that even after 11 years. I do notice the huge blind spot from the front roof pillars on occasion...or rather piople I've nearly hit remind me.

Maybe I've learned to anticipate and be more observant. Or it'll be one's choice...Dodge...or RAM!

I can't imagine smaller mirrors...in fact I'm thinking of buying the larger towing mirrors.

Yeah I've noticed it from the front driver side pillar on like a curved road to the left. But I just learned to work with it and lean a little bit when I make a turn like that. Other then that I don't have a lot of complaints. But I also switched to tow mirrors a little while ago.

yeah, i've noticed the blind spots from the a pillars, not the blind spots from the mirrors. If anything i'd say get bigger mirrors, they reduce your rearward blind spots. I love my towing mirrors, world of difference between the stock mirrors and the towing mirrors. although i'd definitely say get the dodge style "fold up" mirrors instead of the sliding mirrors, the sliding ones for our trucks look horrible to begin with, and they look even worse on the truck. (saw one a couple months ago...scarred me. lol) And for me, with the towing mirrors, i still think the a arms cause a bigger blind spot than the mirror does. But i've learned to work around it....

Yeah the side mirrors are pretty big. I have the same issue where you can't see anything when I'm in a drive thru
