I found it. We are creating a new sub for how-to/knowledge base. We moved a ton of commonly posted questions/threads to a hidden section until we are ready to roll it out.

I'll put it back where you want it for now, we aren't quite ready for the new section just yet.

Let me know where you want it and I'll move it back.

Previously it was in this section: DIY: 2013-18 (19 classic) Power Fold Mirror upgrade/Notes

Sorry about that, let me know if you are missing any of those others and I'll move them back. We did not mean to step on any toes or cause problems for our vendors/long time and respected members. The new how-to/Knowledge base is going to look great we think. We just need a little more time to get it implemented properly.

So what do you think about moving those threads to the new Ram Forum Knowledge base, Mike?

I have some thoughts that may be best done directly

I don't understand your answer to the question. Can you be more specific?

Sorry for the delay, but I thinking it might be better to catch up directly/send a message.

My initial reaction is not in favor of it, especially if any of the threads I linked above that are moved there are locked with no further replies possible. (I'm with @Wild one on that)

Some of the threads may be older, but there are still those of us that monitor /reply to them and provide support still (time permitting)

I honestly think it would be easier if there was a select user group that had the ability to update/edit their posts and especially original posts at the beginning of threads to help keep them up to date as new info is found.... Vs digging though threads (I can as a vendor, but it seems like regular contributors should as well).

I'd rather see an index of sorts with links to the most useful/knowledge base type threads. (Which is why I keep that list in an email ready to go).

I agree @Mpgrimm2 ,the idea of a "sticky" section is actually pretty good, but the fact it becomes "locked" after being moved there, kind of defeats the purpose of the section,as it can't be updated or corrected :badidea:

There also seems to be no rhyme or reason to which posts get put there
