Does anyone have any experience w/ shipping to Canada?
Worried about getting stuck with a huge duty bill?
On a side note have anyone been able to contact them recently? Haven't been able to get through by phone or email.

Slightly off topic, but what part of Canada are you in?

I’m in Ontario and depends on if he ships parts UPS or FedEx. UPS costs a little more and depending on weight of item. I bought a throttle body and paid $35 Canadian via UPS and then purchased front and rear gears with install kits that cost me $150 via UPS. Damper shipped via FedEx cost me $25 but that doesn’t need to be paid right away. They send you an invoice. UPS, you have to pay before they complete delivery.
That’s the only two shipping companies I have used bud Moe’s! Great to deal with that Moe’s. Fast getting your parts out to you. Of course this is on top of his basic shipping price of $30-80 that’s included in the overall price when you buy. Products are great and you can save a little more or pat basically the same price, depending on what you buying. Overall quality is better at Moe’s and faster to receive.

You're gonna get stuck with a duty bill anyways.Pretty tough to get anything into Canada with-out paying Duty or GST somewhere along the line. I usually budget at least another 1/3 of the bill and put it off to the side to pay for any extra charges, sometimes it covers the extra charges, sometimes it doesn't,lol. Last thing i brought into Canada was a triple gauge pod for the wifes Challenger, US price was $239 with free shipping in the States,by the time it was on my doorstop it was $507 Canuck with all the extra charges, yes my ass puckered up when all was said and done, lol. That's to Airdrie to,lol

Rick is right, your going to pay over what you see in your cart at the end when all said and done. The greatest difference is quality, speed, and Matt knows his stuff about our trucks.

Thanks for all the responses, I’ll try to try to get them to ship visa usps

Thinking about getting a throttle body- seems like they come highly recommended. (S&b cai, Magnaflow cat back and y pipe, velocity performance throttle controller currently)
Planning on a tuner later on, figured I’d get the bolt ons done first tho.

Side question:
Know there are tons of threads but is there a big difference btw the billet Tech catch cans an something off of eBay etc...

Pretty much the same setup and I’m not having any issues with my $100 Ebay can. Exact same build and materials as BT as I can tell. Must be a difference though as the others cost more. I first ran a $30 Amazon can and it did wonders as well. I just bought the ebay can as it was made for the Ram 5.7s (Z bracket). There plenty of guys running it here as well as the URP and others in the upper price ranges.

I'd save your money till you can put a set of long tube headers on it,before the throttle body. Do the throttle body as one of the last steps. The throttle body isn't really a restriction to airflow through the motor as much as the stock exhaust manifolds are.You gotta get the air out of the engine before it'll take more air into the engine.

Happy New Year folks. FNG here(frigging new guy)lol. Right now the borders are closed but in the past I was able to make use of a place called My American Address. It gives you a place to received parts with free shipping within the US. Get a notification when it arrives and you go pick it up. Coming back into Canada it's up to you if you want to declare it or not. It's a great system if you are near a border crossing. Used to order from Jeggs for my Roadrunner. And that brokerage fee ****** me off. I use USPS if I can.

Welcome new guy, fellow SSM ram owner here. It's handy being right on the border being able to use that system, when the border is open of course lol

He's in Edmonton so it's probably a good 5 or 6 hours to the nearest border town he can do that in,lol.Factor in your time to drive down and back, plus the price of gas, you'd have to have a good sized order to pick up.If you were buying a cam/headers etc. as a package deal, then it'd be well worth the trip, but on a 4 or 500 dollar order,i'm not so sure it'd be justifiable

I have a mailbox address in Eureka MT but with the borders being closed yes it sucks. I use to live in S Eastern BC near Cranbrook so it was very convenient for me being that close. Now being in Calgary not so. I also read on his website he doesn't like using USPS because of parcels going missing.

Nice to hear from all the Saultites. Maybe we should do a get together sometime when it makes sense to do so. I'm not real truck savy so it would be nice to swap ideas and experiences. For now I'm happy the border is closed. And Edmonton is a zillion miles from anywhere lol.
